The Rules

Every site needs rules. These are to make your time here more enjoyable. So just follow these and we'll get along fine ^^

1 – Do not steal other people’s writings or artwork.

2 – Do not ruin other people’s storylines.

3 – Do not SPAM! For a definition of spam, see the "Roleplay Etiquette" section.

4 – Behave towards those of a higher ranking thaan yourself as is appropriate, for example, in the navy.

5 – No explicit language when in character.

6 – Stay in character where appropriate.

7 – If someone offends you on the site, as tempting as it may be, please do not write offensive messages back but report them to a member of Staff.

8 – Roleplay is conducted in the past tense and the third person, eg “Sarya walked into the room and looked about nervously” as opposed to “Sarya walks into the room and looks about nervously” or “I walk into the room and look about nervously” or “I walked into the room and looked about nervously.”

9 – Please try to keep spelling and grammar accurate, although you will not be penalized for not doing so UNLESS it is awfully obvious and happening with every post you make.

10 – No one-liner replies when posting IC.

11 - No power-playing or godmoding.

12 - No chatspeak IC.

13 - Please make your screen name the same as your character name. This makes things easier when RPing.

14 - Please put your occupation as your Personal Text. So where on my profile it says "Pirate", yours will say "Seamstress" or "Sailor", or whatever occupation your character has. This will make things IC much easier.

15 - You may only have one character per account. Because you can start up more than one account with the same email address, this just makes it easier to distinguish between different characters.

16 - Please make sure that your avatar is appropriate for your character. So if you are RPing as a rich lady, do not make your avatar one of Will Turner.

17 - Make sure that you have read the "Cultural InformatioN" under the "Information" board so that you do not create a character that would be completely out of place on these boards.
